Carmel Feast

The Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel was celebrated with great devotion and joy at Carmel School.

To mark the occasion, a short programme was organized by the students of primary and senior sections on the respective days. The students highlighted the life, virtues and significance of Our Lady of Carmel through skits, songs and dances in the honour of Mother Mary.The performances reflected faith, love and gratitude that emphasized the simplicity, devotion and service that Mother Mary stands for and also highlighted the values of Carmel Institution.

About Carmel School

Carmel School Ranchi

Samlong (Ranchi), was devoid of schools, so the people of Samlong locality put forward their need for an Institution for girls to Bishop and urged him to open a high school. Father Durt who was in the Parish saw the need of school and invited Apostolic Carmel Congregation. As a result on 21st January 1968, the Carmel School for girls was established.
