Under-I4: (Class 8): 2 Gold Medals (Traditional Asanas Artistic Yogasana)

(Class 8): 1 Silver Medal

Under – 17: 1 Gold Medal (Traditional Asanas)

CISCE Regional Yoga Championship

Held nt Gulmohar High School, Jamshedpur The championship saw excellent performance by students of Carmel School in Under.14 and Under- 17 categories.

Under – 17: (8 B)-5th Position

Under – 14:  (8 A) – , Gold (Artistic Yog Asana), Silver (Traditional Asana)

(8 A) – A Bronze (Rhythmic.) The team was declared First Runner-up in the Under_14 category.

About Carmel School

Carmel School Ranchi

Samlong (Ranchi), was devoid of schools, so the people of Samlong locality put forward their need for an Institution for girls to Bishop and urged him to open a high school. Father Durt who was in the Parish saw the need of school and invited Apostolic Carmel Congregation. As a result on 21st January 1968, the Carmel School for girls was established.
