The Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel was celebrated with a vibrant cultural programme led by the Class IX students. The event honoured the Blessed Mother and emphasized the values of compassion, faith, and devotion, fostering spiritual enrichment within the school community.
A Fancy-Dress Competition was held for the students of LKG and HKG, who donned costumes of various characters ranging from hostesses to fruits and animals. It was a delightful experience for the tiny tots, giving them an opportunity to showcase their creativity, confidence, and expression.
Carmel School students organized a Teachers’ Day celebration to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan and to honour their teachers. They expressed their gratitude through colourful stage performances, which added depth and joy to the celebration.
The science was held in Carmel School, showcasing innovative projects from student class VI to IX. Students presented models and experiments related to different branches of science, highlighting the importance of science and technology.
Samlong (Ranchi), was devoid of schools, so the people of Samlong locality put forward their need for an Institution for girls to Bishop and urged him to open a high school. Father Durt who was in the Parish saw the need of school and invited Apostolic Carmel Congregation. As a result on 21st January 1968, the Carmel School for girls was established.
